Who we are
Real City Marketing is a service of Real City Media, based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Questions or requests about your personal information: hello@realcitymarketing.com. That address reaches the person responsible for the protection of personal information.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your first name, email, and (if you choose) phone number; your business website, business type and city.
- Your AI Visibility Report: the results of the check we run on your business.
- Technical and advertising data: approximate location from your IP address (city level), device and browser information, ad click identifiers (such as Facebook's) and campaign parameters.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To run your free AI check and show you the report.
- To follow up about your report and our services, and to book calls you request.
- To provide the services you buy and bill for them.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To prevent abuse of the free check (for example, rate limits and bot protection).
We only send marketing emails if you tick the box to opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate:
- Vercel (website hosting) and Upstash (rate limiting)
- QuoteApp (our customer management system)
- OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and Anthropic: we send your business type, city and website to their AI services to run your check. We don't send your name, email or phone to these providers.
- Cloudflare (bot protection), Stripe (payments), Meta (ad measurement)
- BigDataCloud: only if you tap "Locate me", your device's approximate coordinates are sent to look up your city name.
Some of these providers process data outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Lead and report information is kept for as long as needed to follow up and serve you, and up to 3 years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Billing records are kept as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@realcitymarketing.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads, and your browser's session storage to keep your report available while you browse the site. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
